Serger Project Bag

This Saturday - August 13th
10:30am - 12:30pm

Class fee: $20

A zippered closure keeps everything safe and secure and a see-through vinyl window allows you to see at a glance what is in each bag. 

Learn how to insert a zipper with your serger and try out some decorative threads! Finished size approximately 14" x 15".

Please note - there is some homework to be completed before class! (Shown below Supply List)


Supply List

- 1/2 yd of fabric 1
- 1/2 yd of fabric 2
- 1/2 yd of fusible fleece or batting
- 1/2 yd of vinyl
- we have a wide variety of zippers for you to choose from!
- 2 spools decorative serger thread
- 4 spools of serger thread to match
- darning needle
- cording foot


To complete at home before class: 

- If you would like base of bag to be quilted, please complete this BEFORE the class. Cut fabric 1 and 2 and your batting to 15" squares, then quilt together. Trim quilted piece to 15" square.

- If you are NOT choosing to quilt it, then you must fuse your fabrics together with fusible fleece or double-sided fusible batting, then trim to 15" square.
