It is with great sadness that we reach out to our store community to let you know of the passing of Joseph Flyte, co-owner of Creative Sewing Center and Lisa's husband of 30 years.

His sudden and unexpected death on April 2nd is devastating for his loving family and many friends, and we know that many of you have also enjoyed his warm and friendly presence through the years at our store.

Joe had a deep appreciation and love for his family, his community, and his work. The Flyte family is honored to continue on together in this work at Creative Sewing Center.

Anyone who would like to is welcome to join with the Flyte family at memorial services next week to honor and celebrate Joe's life.

Funeral and visitation services will both take place at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Sandwich. The visitation will be Tuesday, April 7th from 4-8pm. The funeral service will be held the following day, April 8th at 11am.

The store will remain open for regular business hours (Tuesday through Friday from 10-5 and Saturday from 10-3) with the exception of Wednesday, April 8th. The store will be closed for the entire day on April 8th to allow for staff to share in the memorial service with our family.
