Join us for StitchWise: Piece by Piece, an exciting, hands-on machine stitching experience designed to build your skills, one stitch at a time!

Whether you're exploring new techniques or refining your craft, this all-day workshop will take you through a patchwork of creative possibilities - from decorative stitching to quilting in the hoop and beyond. You'll experiment with couching, free-motion quilting, stitching on vinyl, adding zippers, embroidery, and more!



Along the way, you'll complete a stylish and functional zippered pouch - a perfect way to showcase your newfound skills. Come stitch with us - one piece at a time!



We provide our BERNINA classroom machines for you to use, plus we provide you with lunch - so you don't need to bring anything!

Instructor Bio:

ANNETTE JOHNSON Paradise, Utah As a young child, Annette watched with fascination as her grandmother sewed and mended. She carried that curiosity into her own life when, as a young child, she sewed doll clothes by hand, just like in the "olden days." She purchased her first sewing machine, a BERNINA 930, shortly after graduating from high school, and while her husband pursued his degree, she attended classes in tailoring and alterations. Annette brings the wonder of possibility to life, delighting in watching her students light up with joy as they learn new skills and explore a world of creative opportunities with their machines. Unlike her first machine, today's sewing machines are computers that sew, making creation fun and easy with endless possibilities. Annette has experience in costume design, including wedding dresses, prom dresses, and attire for dance and figure skating. More recently, Annette has found a love for piecing quilts, and her newly found joy of embroidery. Annette has a patient, gentle style and excels at teaching students to unlock their greatest potential and creative zeal through embroidery, quilt piecing, and elaborate cosplay costumes. We learn together as students enhance their skills while discovering BERNINA, which brings their imaginations to life. Life is a journey, and crafting and creating bring joy to our experience while building friendships and expanding our vision of creativity on any level. This is what Annette loves about her work.
