Rope Bowl Class

Make either a Rope Bowl or Rope Coasters on your sewing machine. 

You are required to purchase a rope basket kit (available in store) - please pick yours out before class. The kit will include your instructions, rope, plus a sewing machine needle. Our current kit options are: nesting bowls, a set of coasters and basket, basket with handles, or an oval organizer.

If you would like the option to wrap fabric around your rope, please bring fabric with you. You will need a strip 1/2 inch wide by 20-25 inches long. (This is not required - just optional.)

You can use a variety of threads to acheive different looks. In class, we will show you how it looks to use variegated, 50 weight, 40 weight, 30 weight, and 12 (weight) threads. Thread will be available for purchase in store. You can use embriodery threads or cottons - there is no wrong answer! You may want to bring a variety of threads so you can choose which look you want.
