Rope Bowl Class

Make either a Rope Bowl or Rope Coasters on your sewing machine. 

You are required to purchase a rope basket kit (available in store) - please pick yours out before class. The kit will include your instructions, rope, plus a sewing machine needle.

You will need to bring your sewing machine with you.

If you would like the option to wrap fabric around your rope, please bring fabric with you. You will need your strips to be 1/2 inch wide by 20-25 inches long. (This is not required - just optional.)

You can use a variety of threads to achieve different looks. In class, we will show you how it looks to use variegated, 50 weight, 40 weight, 30 weight, and 12 (weight) threads. Thread will be available for purchase in store. You can use embroidery threads or cottons - there is no wrong answer! You may want to bring a variety of threads so you can choose which look you want.
