Learn to Piece a Quilt on a Serger
Learn how you can use your serger to piece a quilt together.
There is an optional additional class to do the quilting on your serger as well. If you take both of these classes, you will receive a $10 gift certificate to use on anything in store.
This project is intended to help you learn techniques using a serger to piece quilts and coverstitch to quilt the project.
Class project will make a table runner approx. 15.5” X 60”, could be adapted to a 40” long or placemats.
Class Supply List
1/3 yd. Focus fabric
5- 2 ½” strips WOF (width of fabric) of coordinating
¼ yd of border fabric
1/8 yd of accent fabric
Batting 16”x 60” (Precut available at class if you want to purchase)
Backing material 18” x 64” piece (May be pieced, we will discuss options at end of 1st session)
