Helene Knit Cardigan
Create your own shawl collar cardigan out of knit fabrics with this Jalie pattern (27 sizes included in pattern).
This is an open front cardigan with a high back neck that creates subtle draping, super-easy pocket, waist seam for color blocking, and slightly flowy lower back to give it more movement. A quick sew thanks to the ingenious construction!
Must purchase pattern separately, available in store: Jalie Helene #3677. We also have knit fabric available in store!
This class would be well-suited for using your serger, but you are also welcome to join with your sewing machine.
Additional class supplies required:
- Red-dot tracer paper
- Fabric scissors
- Polyester thread
- Pattern weights or magnets (ask us about our favorites!)
- Wonder Clips for keeping fabric pieces together while sewing
- Seam ripper
