Kids' Beginning Sewing Camp
A three day camp for ages 8-12. In this camp the students will make 3-4 projects while developing their sewing skills.
We will be making a pincushion, summer skirt, and a tote bag (and potentially a bonus project).
This camp is designed to teach the students the following skills:
- Accurate straight stitching
- Zig zag stitching
- Overcast stitching
- Measuring based on pattern requirements
- Proper cutting with scissors and a rotary cutter
We will provide the sewing machines and the materials for the projects.
If you own a Baby Lock sewing machine, please bring it with you. If you have any questions on this, please call or email us.
There will be some standard sewing supplies you will need (see details below).
