Binding 101
Learn how to bind your quilted projects. We will be using pre-quilted sample fabric to practice in class.
You will learn how to cut your binding strips, prepare them for binding, and attach them to your quilt. You will learn how to miter the corners and join your binding together.
This class focuses on machine sewing to bind your project, but we will discuss additional options (like hand sewing).
Class Supply List
Class Fabric Kit (contains all fabric and batting, included in class registration)
Make sure to bring your sewing machine with you, along with power cord and foot control.
Small ruler
Neutral, good-quality color thread (can be polyester or cotton)
Basic sewing supplies (pins, scissors, seam ripper, etc)
Temporary fabric marking pen
Rotary cutter, mat and ruler
Wonder clips (optional)
