Next Steps in Guided Motion Ruler Quilting

Learn how to do free motion with quilting rulers!

This class follows up on our "Beginner Guided Motion Quilting" class with even more tips and more intermediate instruction.

Rulers help you quilt your projects with confidence and precision. Get hands-on instruction on how to use quilting rulers to achieve different designs in a sample project.

Class Supplies


- 36" square fabric for top (solid fabric recommended)
- 36" square fabric for backing
- 36" square batting
- a practice fabric "sandwich" that is 12" square

**Please create your quilt sandwich prior to class.


- Extension table
- Sew Slip (helps your fabric glide over your extension table)
- Ruler foot
- Westalee 12" Arc ruler
- Westalee 8 point cross hair ruler
- Westalee spacing gauge
- 24" long marking ruler
- 6.5" square ruler
- spray baste
- scissors
- fabric marking tool (disappearing pen or water erase)
- 40 weight polyester thread
- 90# Top-stitch needle


- Table polish
- Curved tweezers
