The following classes are hands on classes for machine owners. *Please register ahead of time to ensure your place in class.* Because so many people suffer with allergies, we request that you not wear perfume to any classes. We also request that all cell phones be turned off during class.

Pfaff Guide Classes Pfaff Owner’s Introduction Sewing – Class One (2 hrs) Please bring your sewing machine, manual for your machine, foot control, accessories, thread, bobbins, machine needles, small ruler, scissors, dual marking pen, pen or pencil, paper to take notes. All electronic and computerized machines will be included in this class. Sewing Techniques Practice how to do the following techniques on all Pfaff sewing machines. •Accessories and Basics •Cleaning and Maintenance •Threading and Bobbin Winding •Choosing Stitches •Seam, Permanent Reverse and Jeans hem •Buttonholes, Buttons •Blind Hem Pfaff Guide 1 (All machines) Sandwich- Geneva- Pfaff New Owner’s Creative Sewing – Class Two (2 hrs) Please bring your sewing machine, manual for your machine, foot control, accessories, thread, bobbins, machine needles, small ruler, scissors, dual marking pen, pen or pencil, paper to take notes. All electronic and computerized machines will be included in this class. Sewing Techniques Practice how to do the following techniques on all Pfaff sewing machines. •Gathering •Satin Stitch – Appliqué heart •Heirloom appliqué stitch •Lace insertion •Twin needle sewing •Free Motion quilting / sewing Pfaff Guide 2 (All machines) Sandwich- Geneva- Pfaff Owner’s Sequencing – Class Three (3 hrs) Please bring your sewing machine, manual for your machine, foot control, accessories, thread, bobbins, machine needles, small ruler, scissors, dual marking pen, pen or pencil, paper to take notes. All computerized machines will be included in this class (expression, performance, creative). All embroidery machines will be included in this class (creative). All embroidery machines will be included in this class. Machines are needed at this class, but not embroidery units. Guide2 (All machines) Sewing Techniques • 3 Thread Seam or Overcast (wide and narrow) • 3 Thread Flatlock • 2 Thread Rolled Edge • 2 Thread Flatlock Sewing Techniques Guide 3 • 5 Thread seam and overcast • Chain Stitch •Cover Hem • 4874 only – Decorative stitches Geneva- Software Guide Classes Bring your laptop computer and dongle (if program requires it) with you to class. If you do not have a laptop, there is a computer available at the store, but you may have to share it with another student. Babylock Palette 8.0 No Charge/$75* 2 hrs 1 session Learn the steps of digitizing in Palette from opening an image to saving. There are lots of great “treats” in this program. Learn how and where to save the completed design. Recommend workbook: $43.
